International activities

| More
Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences (RAMK) offers a modern, international learning environment and multi-cultural community for its students, staff and visitors. RAMK has foreign language degree programmes, international research and development work and active student, teacher and staff exchanges. Also coming to Rovaniemi is easy for international students and visitors: we offer excellent services, studies and good transport connections.

One of our international strength is our Northern know-how. Our central location in the Barents region offers good possibilities for co-operation in education, research, development and business with our neighbouring countries: Sweden, Norway and Russia. Our school has numerous co-operation partners also in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.

As a town, Rovaniemi is comfortably small-scale, student friendly, safe and affordable to live in. Sports and cultural hobbies are available to everyone and student activity is enthusiastic. Lappish nature, with its midnight sun and northern lights, is a major attraction to international visitors.
