Registering for study units in the next academic year 2011 - 2012
Registration period
The registration period for study units in the next academic year is 14.4. - 31.5.2011.
The registration period for students starting their studies next autumn is 31.8. - 15.9.2011.
Students register via
WinhaWille. Students can view available study units and schedules with WinhaWille. Study unit descriptions, contents, schedules and other related information can be found using
SoleOps.
SoleOps is found at
https://soleops.ramk.fi/opsnet. It is not necessary to login. First select the degree programme, then the group and finally the group’s curriculum. The curriculum’s year column (academic year 2011 - 2012) shows you what will be offered during the next academic year. Click the studies to view more information about them.
Registration rules
- Registration is binding: If a student does not attend a study unit for which he or she has registered, the study unit will be graded as ”failed”. After the registration period, registration may be cancelled before the beginning of the study unit only for a valid reason. Therefore, register only for study units you intend to attend.
- Students are accepted to study units in the order of registration, with the exception of mandatory study units, where students whose curriculum requires said study units are given priority.
- In case of cancellations, the teacher accepts standby students in the order of registration.
Registration instructions
- Verify the implemented schedules of studies: Before registering, make sure you read the descriptions of the study units in SoleOps. The description provides detailed information about the time and place of the study units and possible changes.
- WinhaWille can be found at: https://winhawille.ramk.fi/winhawille/. In WinhaWille, click Registrations - Implementation.
- Display the desired study units on the screen by using one of the following search criteria:
- study unit code, if you know it
- study unit name or part of the name between % characters
- group code, if you are looking for your own group’s studies
- first part of a group code and a % character if you are looking for studies in your programme e.g. 504T% will display studies in all the IT degree programme groups
- to display all of RAMK’s common language studies, enter KIEL08 as the group code and VAP08 for free-choice electives
- teaching point, if you want to display studies in your own field.
- Make sure you read the information and description of the study unit before registering.
- Register for the desired study unit by entering an X in the selection box in front of the study unit. Click the Confirm button.
- A Place/Max field is displayed, which shows your place in the order of registration and the maximum number of places in the study unit.
- When you change the search criteria, continue registering for the next study unit from step 2.
- Finally, check your registrations using Student - ISP - Registrations.
You may cancel registrations for study units only during the registration period. Enter an
X in the
selection box in front of the study unit and click the
Delete button.
After the registration period, registration may be cancelled before the beginning of the study unit
only for a valid reason.
Students are notified of acceptance to study units via WinhaWille. ISP/Participation displays a list
of study units for which you have been approved. ISP/Registrations displays a list of study units
for which you are on standby.
