Quality assurance refers to day-to-day procedures that are employed to ensure and develop the quality of education and other operation. The objective of quality assurance is to:

Quality assurance of the open university of applied sciences is based on RAMK’s quality assurance system. An important part of quality assurance is student feedback, which is used to develop open university of applied sciences operation and student services. The open university of applied sciences employs an electronic Webropol system to gather student feedback from both students completing individual studies and students studying together with groups of degree students. The feedback is gathered from students completing individual studies at the end of the study unit and twice a year from students studying with degree students. A summary of feedback and development proposals is sent to respondents by e-mail in the beginning of the year and also saved on the open university of applied sciences pages on the intranet.
