Graduation and working life

| More
In your graduation phase you should contact your teacher tutor well in advance to check that all of your studies are completed and to discuss about moving to working life and possible post-degree studies. It is possible to receive support for incomplete studies, for example from study support groups or the study psychologist.

When all of your studies are completed and checked, you should fill in part A (applying for a degree) on the applying for a degree form. Return the form to the study affairs office of your field of study at least one week before the grade assessment committee meeting. Your teacher tutor will fill in part B on the form. The head of the degree programme will present the application at the next grade assessment committee meeting. The grade assessment committee examines and approves grades and submits a proposal concerning the degree to the president. You can pick up your degree certificate at the study affairs office, ask the office to mail it to you or receive it at your graduation ceremony.

In addition to applying for a degree, you should answer the feedback questionnaires at RAMK’s own and Opala.

It is also time to focus your attention on the job market and post-degree studies. If necessary, you can turn to RAMK’s career and recruitment services, where you can get instructions and support in applying for a job.
