Please notice that it is very important to apply an accommodation on time and have it ready before arriving to Rovaniemi. Beginning of each semester is a busy time and student housing will be filled up quickly.

Please notice that
the deadline for DAS apartment is 11 July 2012, so apply the accommodation on time! The application form for DAS accommodation can be found at DAS web pages and has to be submitted directly to DAS. DAS offers single rooms / shared rooms for two with a shared kitchen, toilet and bathroom for 2-3 persons, single rooms with own bathroom but shared kitchen and balcony and also small one-room apartments. DAS offers also furnished rooms which are mainly located in Kuntotie. The prices depend on the area and the type of flat. For further information about DAS visit their webpage.
RAMK exchange students usually stay at DAS Kuntotie or Rovala apartments. Kuntotie area is situated near to Ounasvaara campus about 3 kilometers to the downtown Rovaniemi. Nearest commercial centre with grocery store, pharmacy and post services is 1 km away. There is also another grocery store 600 metres away.
There are six houses in Kuntotie and two of these are furnished. Four houses are renovated in 2000-2005. Furnished apartments are in those houses, which are not renovated. There are sauna turns, clubroom, laundries and recycling room. There is DAS internet connection in five houses. The monthly costs varies between € 163 - € 329.
Rovala is located close to the city centre. It takes only 15 min to walk to the city centre and 30 min to walk to the Rantavitikka area, where RAMK's Rantavitikka campus is located. The nearest grocery store is located 500 metres away.

RAMK Väylätie dormitory (Only for RAMK first year degree programme students)
RAMK Väylätie dormitory is located in Viirinkangas and it offers rooms only for new RAMK degree programme students. All rooms are in apartment units with 4 rooms, shared kitchen and a bathroom. Please notice that rooms are shared and for two people. For further information and applying an accommodation from RAMK Väylätie dormitory, please read the attachment Information and application for RAMK Väylätie dormitory. The application must be delivered as an attachment to accommodation(at)ramk.fi.
Application deadline is July 11 th.
Housing companies and private sector
You can also look for an apartment from the city of Rovaniemi, housing companies and private sector. These apartments are usually unfurnished. The rent depends on the area and the condition of the apartment. For more information please check the links below.
